A pool that keeps needing water is losing money, and in Central Texas, under drought watering rules, it's also losing a resource the whole Hill Country depends on. Evaporation explains some loss on a hot day. A steady drop of half an inch or more beyond evaporation is almost always a leak.
The leaks that matter most are the ones you can't see: underground plumbing under the deck, returns and suction lines, the main drain, and the equipment pad. Many homeowners only learn about them when their water utility flags unusually high usage or sends an underground leak notice. When that happens, finding the exact spot before anyone breaks up a deck saves thousands.
Austin Pool Leak connects homeowners, property managers and buyers with leak detection specialists who use professional-grade LeakTronics listening and pressure-testing equipment to locate leaks to a precise point, then document everything in a report you can hand to your pool builder, insurer or real estate agent.

Common questions
How do I know if my pool is leaking or just evaporating?
Do a bucket test. Set a bucket of pool water on the step, mark both levels, and compare after 24 hours. If the pool drops more than the bucket, especially half an inch or more, it's a leak.
My water utility sent an underground leak or high-usage notice. What now?
Turn off the pool's autofill and do a bucket test, then call us. Buried pool plumbing is a common cause, and we can pinpoint the line and the spot before any digging.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the pool, spa, water features and equipment. Text photos of the entire pool and equipment pad and we'll send a quote.
What do I get at the end?
A written report with photos, each leak location marked, and clear repair recommendations, ready for your pool builder, insurer or agent.
Losing water? Let's find where.
Text photos of the entire pool and equipment pad for a quote. If you've received a high-usage or underground leak notice, mention it.
